A favorite game of many members is, indeed, golf. As
with any other sport, practice makes perfect. Both the driving range and
practice greens help keep techniques sharp. A short game practice area
allows Club members to improve bunker and chipping skills. Club Pros are
always happy to arrange organized play and offer friendly advice.
“Tennis anyone?" Hickory Hills has six hard courts, two
of which are lighted, and two clay courts. The upper
courts have an outdoor pavilion located alongside and the lower courts
utilize a patio area. The Pro Shop
Pavilion is staffed May through September by USTA professionals who
assist with private lessons, equipment
selection, special clinics, and organized play.
A short distance from the tennis courts is the pool. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, the fan shaped zero depth entry area with a mushroom water feature tapering into a 12' deep diving well with one meter diving board is staffed by Red Cross certified guards. Located poolside are playground equipment and snack bar with indoor and outdoor seating. For members' convenience, the snack bar offers children's fare in addition to the regular menu.
